ITALIANO Domus Laeta è un'antica dimora che si trova nel Parco Nazionale del Cilento a 10 km dalla splendida costa cilentana e dai famosi Templi di Paestum. E' accanto alla piazza principale del paese ed alla chiesa. Si presenta su tre livelli ed è disposta su di un giardino terrazzato ad alberi da frutta e vigneto. E' esposta a mezzogiorno ed ha un panorama incantevole fino alla valle. Ha tutte le caratteristiche della casa padronale attrezzata per una completa autonomia di gestione. Conserva ancora oggi la sua articolata struttura del sec. XVII: torrette di avvistamento e feritoie, stalle, mangiatoie, frantoio per l'olio, cantine e forni per il pane, pozzo sorgivo. Appartiene da sempre ad un'aristocratica famiglia le cui memorie sono rimaste nei mobili, negli oggetti, nell'archivio e nei rari testi che compongono la pregevole biblioteca. Domus Laeta è stata recentemente restaurata per offrire un'accoglienza di tipo bed and breakfast. Il restauro conservativo ha lasciato intatti gli ambienti ai quali è garantita una moderna funzionalità che non ha alterato l'aspetto originario. La piscina è fatta con pietre del luogo lavorate a mano su di una preesistente vasca di raccolta d'acqua. Il terzo livello, quello dell'abitazione vera e propria, è dotato di sale di rappresentanza, biblioteca, camere da letto, loggiato con affreschi. L'arredo è costituito da mobili d'epoca di casa. Le sale di rappresentanza sono rimaste le stesse e vi è memoria di uno dei canterani del salone, in un documento del '700. La stanza con l'accesso al pozzo di acqua sorgiva era utilizzata per la provvista d'acqua, ora è una piccola sala musica e TV con pianoforte e strumenti popolari. La sala da pranzo con camino riunisce gli ospiti per la prima colazione. Vi è un grande terrazzo solarium. Le camere da letto per gli ospiti sono cinque, tutte dotate di bagno personale con doccia: La camera rosa, camera azzurra, camera gialla, l'anticamera del Vescovo, camera del Vescovo. Giungano è nel Parco Nazionale del Cilento. La spiaggia di Paestum è lunga e sabbiosa e vi sono numerosi ed attrezzati stabilimenti balneari. Dal punto di vista turistico la zona si presenta come un vero e proprio nodo di attrazione per la presenza dei due poli archeologici di Paestum e di Velia, di numerosi Musei, di Santuari e luoghi di ritiro spirituale (Certosa di Padula, Santuario della Madonna del Granato, Getsemani), di torri e castelli, di famose grotte (Castelcivita e Pertosa). |
ENGLISH Domus Laeta, the ancient home of the aristocratic family Aulisio is a large dwelling place which still keeps the aura and charm of its past. Located in the small town of Giungano, Domus Laeta is within the UNESCO National Park of Cilento, province of Salerno, and faces south with a fascinating distant view of the sea. The building, one of the most ancient in the village, is next to the main square and the Church. It is three floors high and sits atop a terraced garden with an orchard and vineyard overlooking the valley; a typical Italian country mansion, well equipped to run autonomously. Domus Laeta has kept its XVII century structure with watch-towers and loop-holes along the walls, stables and mangers, an oil-mill built of stone, cellars and bread ovens. An old reservoir by a spring-water well, in the open and panoramic garden, has been turned into a swimming pool with hydromassage. This elegant house has always belonged to the same family, whose memories are still visible in furniture, objects of art, archives, library with old and rare books (about 3,000 volumes). The house has recently restructured in order to became a Bed and Breakfast. The great halls have remained unaltered, and an ancient chest of drawers placed in the main hall is mentioned in a document of the 1700s. There is a room attached to the spring-water well which was used for water storage. The bedrooms have always been located where they are now, and the bathrooms generally outside on the verandas. There are comfortable lounges, library, TV room, spacious external premises, including open gallery with frescoes, panoramic terrace, orchard, swimming pool and a small gym. The host and hostess wish to ensure that a sojourn at "Domus Laeta" is comfortable and pleasant. An abundant continental breakfast is served. Special dinners, high-class receptions and small meetings can be arranged on request. Guest rooms available at present are five, all with private bathrooms: The Blue Room, The Gold Room, The Pink Room, The Bishop’s Antechamber, Bishop’s chamber. Giungano is located in the National Park of Cilento which stretches over 180,000 hectares, within the province of Salerno. This has recently been inserted in the UNESCO list of humanity's natural beauties. Giungano is only 10 kilometers from the sea. The Excavations and the Museum of Paestum, the Excavations of Velia, the Virtual Museum of Hera Argiva at the mouth of the river Sele. Paestum (the ancient Poseidonia of the Magna Grecia) is one of the most prominent archeological sites in Italy. |
DEUTSCH Das "Domus Laeta" ist ein antiker Wohnsitz im Nationalpark Cilento, 10 km von der wunderschoenen cilentenischen Kueste und den beruehmten Tempeln von Paestum entfernt. Es ist neben dem Dorfplatz und der Kirche gelegen. Es praesentiert sich auf drei Ebenen und wird von einem terassierten Garten mit Obstbaeumen und Weingarten abgeschlossen. Es ist nach Sueden ausgerichtet und hat ein zauberhaftes Panorama bis ins Tal. Es hat alle Charaktaristika eines Herrenhauses, das auf eine komplett selbststaendige Fuehrung ausgerichtet ist. Bis heute hat es seine kommunizierende Struktur des 17. Jahrhunderts bewahrt: Aussichtstuerme und Schiessscharten, Stallungen und Futterkrippen, eine Oelmuehle, Kellerund Brotoefen, Quellbrunnen. Stets im Besitz einer adeligen Familie, deren Andenken in Moebeln, Objekten, dem Archiv und den seltenen Buechern und Schriften, die zusammen die wertvolle Bibliothek bilden, erhalten blieb. Domus Laeta wurde vor kurzem restauriert, um eine Unterkunft in der Art eines Bed and Breakfastes anbieten zu koennen. Die bewahrende Restaurierung hat die Raeume unberuehrt gelassen, die eine moderne Funtionalitaet garantieren, die den urspruenglichen Eindruck nicht veraendert hat. Der Swimming-Pool wurde mit Steinen des Ortes gemacht, handgearbeitet, ueber einem bereits bestehenden Wassersammelbecken. |
