l Gelso Vacanze é una struttura ricettiva in formula bed and breakfast, che sorge a Salina, perla verde al centro delle Isole Eolie. La sua posizione strategica, in una zona tranquilla, a 200 mt dal mare, a 700mt dal porticciolo dei pescatori e a 300 mt. dal centro abitato di Malfa, consente di raggiungere facilmente bar, ristoranti, edicola, farmacia, supermercato, banca ed altre attività commerciali. Attraverso un viale di ingresso ombreggiato da pini si accede al parcheggio privato. Le stradine interne, circondate da fiori e piante rigogliose, portano alle camere con ingresso indipendente dalla propria terrazza attrezzata vista mare. Il restauro di questa antica dimora rispecchia la tipica architettura eoliana. Tutte le stanze si affacciano sul terrazzo (bagghiu) pergolato, rivolto quasi sempre verso il mare. Sul perimetro di questo vi sono sempre i sedili in muratura (bisola). Le colonne (pulere) sorreggono la copertura del terrazzo fatta da incannucciato e da rigogliose buganvillee . Anticamente era così , e ancora oggi é così.

Il Gelso Vacanze is a resort in the form of a Bed and Breakfast, situated in Salina, otherwise known as the Green Pearl, at the heart of the Aeolian Islands. Its strategic position, in a peaceful area, 200m from the sea, 700m from the Fishermen’s Marina and 300m from the inhabited centre Malfa, means that bars, restaurants, newsstands, pharmacies, supermarkets, banks and other commercial enterprises are within easy reach. Pass through the entrance road which is shaded by pine trees, and there is access to a private car park. The internal pathways, surrounded by flowers and flourishing plants, lead to the rooms, all which have separate entrances by means of a private terrace, complete with a sea view. The restoration of this ancient residence mirrors typical Aeolian architecture. All of the rooms face the bower terrace (bagghiu), the view from which is almost always directed towards the sea. Around the edge of this terrace, there are still the ancient masonry stone seats (bisola). The columns (pulere) hold the roof of the terrace, which is made of wattle and luxuriant bougainvillea. It was like this in ancient times, and it is still like this today.

Il n'y a pas de particulières attractions au "Gelso Vacanze" de Malfa dans la vert ìle de Salina Il n'y a pas "l'eau fun", ni des discotheques vojcines. En revanche an Gelso vacanze, a' 200 mt de la baia de Punta Scario, il y a des chambres avec sa propre terrasse avec la vue de la mer, modernes services et conforts, dans le respect des traditions éoliennes il y a la calme, la nettoyage, la nature...
