ITALIANO Segnalato dalla rivista Bell'Italia - maggio 2004 L’Agriturismo Masseria sul Mare sorge a poca distanza dalla “Spiaggia della Marchesa”, famosa per il suo largo arenile dal bel profilo dorato. La sua collocazione felicemente ricade nell’area di preriserva del fiume Cassibile che, dalle balze calcaree dei Monti Iblei, corre al mare, attraversando tutta una zona protetta ricca di natura e archeologia. Il caseggiato che ospita la struttura, nella sua sobria architettura degli inizi del ‘900, si dispone su due corpi paralleli che ritagliano una corte centrale aperta a Nord e a Sud, piena, perciò, di pervasiva luminosità, amplificata dal riverbero dei materiali lapidei bianchi, tipici della zona, che il recente restauro ha ulteriormente valorizzato. Questo corpo architettonico “solare” viene poi protetto dalla vasta spazialità orizzontale della terra, coltivata ad ortaggi e frumento, che lo cinge con l’umile corona del soffice silenzio della campagna. Anche gli ambienti interni delle camere godono tutti della semplice nobiltà di questo luogo luminoso ed aperto, ma anche protettivo nel sicuro abbraccio della pietra. La tenuta ha come esito naturale, rivolto al Sol Levante, un fronte mare vasto e variegato di calette, speroni ed insenature, con accesso alla spiaggia e a plateaux di scogli calcarei, assieme a belle vedute del liquido specchio. Anche la nostra cucina, nel passaggio culturale dal crudo al cotto, raccoglie ed interpreta “il bene territoriale”, così ricco ancora di agricoltura ed allevamenti, preferendo il prodotto locale e valorizzando quella sapienza diffusa dell’artigianato della trasformazione alimentare, tipica della zona, all’interno della sfaccettata e ricca tradizione gastronomica siciliana. Per la sua posizione strategica la residenza nel nostro Agriturismo permette una facile percorrenza verso le più famose località di mare della costa sud orientale della Sicilia, nonché la visita di tutto il distretto del Barocco del Val di Noto, assieme all’esplorazione delle riserve di Cavagrande del Cassibile, Vendicari e Pantalica, preziose sia dal punto di vista naturalistico che da quello storico- artistico ed archeologico. Tutte queste caratteristiche fondano la felicità locale del nostro Agriturismo che si offre all’ospite come sintesi della bellezza paesaggistica siracusana, nonché di quella atmosfera di serenità olimpica che ancora promana dall’intenso ricordo dei primi miti naturalistici. ENGLISH The farmhouse “Masseria sul Mare” is not far from the “Marchesa” beach, famous for its beautifully profiled golden sandy shore. Its position between Syracuse and Noto, in the nature reserve of the river “Cassibile”, which flows down from the “Iblei” mountains, through the protected archeological zone and into the sea, makes it particularly attractive. Also within short driving distance are Catania, Mount Etna and its fascinating villages and Taormina. Further afield, but well worth the trip are Agrigento and Piazza Armerina. From the house one has a splendid view on the vast sea front and the beach, which is enclosed by a rocky coastline, is only a breath away. The original house with its sober architecture, dates from the beginning of 1900 and consists of two parallel buildings with a courtyard in the centre, open at both ends so as to let in the light to emphasize the pretty white stone which is so typical of the zone. The restoration has done a wonderful job. This “sunny” place is surrounded by acres of cultivated farmland with vegetables and heat “crowned” by the sound of silence of the countryside. All the rooms have been furnished in a simple but comfortable way, a special touch is added by the stone walls that surround them which create a warm atmosphere. The menu at the “Masseria sul Mare” represents the Sicilian territory where traditional farming and cattle breeding are still very much part of the scene and guarantee genuine local products like pasta, cheese and wine which perfectly reflect the Sicilian gastronomic tradition. Our strategic position allows you to visit the most well-known sea resorts on the south-east coast of Sicily as well as the so-called “Barocco del Val di Noto” and it also offers you the opportunity to explore the nature reserves in the zone such as “Cava Grande”, “Vendicari” and “Pantalica” which are extremely beautiful and well- worth a visit seen from a natural as well as from a historical and archeological point of view. All these characteristics make our “agriturismo” a marvellous place where one can enjoy both the pretty Syracusan countryside and the seaside and relax in an atmosphere which will take you back to Olympian times.  DEUTSCH Der Agritourismus Masseria sul Mare befindet sich auf halber Strecke zwischen Noto und Syrakus und nur 400 m von der “Spiaggia della Marchesa”, dem "Strand der Marquise" entfernt, berühmt für seinen breiten goldgelben Sandstrand. Er liegt im Naturschutzgebiet des Flusses Cassibile, der von den Kalksteilhängen der Monti Iblei zum Meer fließt, wobei er auf ganzer Länge in einem Schutzgebiet läuft, reich an Natur und an archäologischen Kostbarkeiten. Der Häuserkomplex, aus dem der Agritourismus besteht, gebaut in der nüchternen Architektur vom Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts, setzt sich aus zwei parallelen Gebäuden zusammen, die einen nach Norden und Süden offenen Innenhof begrenzen. In diesem Hof befinden sich das Restaurant und einige unserer Zimmer. Andere Zimmer liegen in alten, renovierten Häuschen mitten auf dem Land, das sich über 55 Hektar erstreckt, mit Olivenbäumen, Nutzgärten und Weizenanbau. Das Landgut öffnet sich auf natürliche Weise zum Meer hin, auf einer Breite von ca. 2 Kilometern, gebildet von Felsvorsprüngen und kleinen und kleinsten Buchten, mit Zugang zum Sandstrand und zum Plateau der Kalkklippen. Auch unsere Küche bewahrt und entwickelt die regionale kulinarische Kultur weiter, die noch immer so reich ist an den Früchten von Ackerbau und Viehzucht. Dabei verwenden wir als Rohstoffe vor allem lokale Produkte, die wir nach den überlieferten Regeln der hiesigen Kochkunst zubereiten; jenen Regeln, auf die sich der Ruhm der reichen kulinarischen Tradition Siziliens mit all ihren Facetten gründet. Wegen der äußerst günstigen Lage unseres Agritourismus können Sie von hier aus sehr leicht die berühmtesten Orte an der südöstlichen Küste Siziliens erreichen. Nehmen wir als Beispiel Portopalo di Capo Passero, Marzamemi, Fontane Bianche, nicht zu reden von einem Besuch in den Barockstädten des Noto-Tals: Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicili. Sie können aber eine Entdeckungsreise in die Naturschutzgebiete von Cavagrande del Cassibile, Vendicari und Pantalica machen, herrlich sowohl wegen der Naturschönheiten als auch wegen der kunstgeschichtlichen und archäologischen Kostbarkeiten, die Sie hier finden. Und natürlich – nicht zu vergessen – Syrakus und Noto, die beide nicht weit vom Agritourismus entfernt sind. |
FRANÇAIS La Maison d'Hôtes La Masseria sul Mare a été obtenue par la récente et très soignée modernisation d'un ancien édifice rural, le Mas de Gallina, qui se trouve pres de la renommé plage du Gelsomineto, entre Fontane Bianche (Syracuse) et Noto, tout avant la zone de protection natural du Parc de l'embouchure du Fleuve Cassibile. Du fond on accède directement a la mer, qui se deroule par un 1 Km de cotes, avec plage de sable dorée et rocher en pierre blanc. Le domaine tres reservé, la voisinage de la mer, sont les plaisirs et les valeurs de cette Maison d'Hôtes . La Masseria sul Mare donne a ses visitateurs un Restaurant, des chambres et des suites realisèes dans les anciennes batiments rustiques, et des mini suites realisé dans les caratteristiques constructions ici nommé "dammusi", fournies de toutes conforts modernes, et elegantement moubliées. A deux pas des tous le plus renommé localité touristiques, soit le cités d'art du Barocco (Noto, Avola, Syracuse), soit les fameux plages dans la cote sud-orientale (Vendicari), soit le zone de protection naturale comme le Parc de "Cavagrande del Cassibile", la Maison d'Hôtes La Masseria sul Mare donne tout entier la possibilité d'un sejour inoubliable en Sicile. |
