Su una superficie di quasi 5 ettari, immersa nel verde delle
colline etnee, si trova l’azienda agrituristica di Rocca
della Rosa. Sorge nella fresca e delicata campagna di Zafferana
Etnea, con il mare ai suoi piedi e la maestosa Etna alle spalle.
Il luogo, adatto agli appassionati della natura, risponde a
diversi desideri: aria pura e leggera, riposo, quiete, voglia di
sentirsi liberi e veri, scoperta di tesori culturali sconosciuti,
bisogno di evasione e divertimento. L’azienda, nata in
posizione strategica sulle pendici dell’Etna e a pochi
chilometri da Taormina, in un paese di illustri tradizioni, dove
i Viceré erano soliti villeggiare, offre un soggiorno in
caseggiati che denunciano, nell’architettura, la loro
antica e signorile origine. Ciliegie, frutta, olio extra vergine
di oliva, marmellate, miele sono i prodotti biologici che si
vendono in azienda. Su richiesta si organizzano passeggiate a
cavallo, escursioni equestri sull’Etna e lezioni di
equitazione. Escursionismo d’avventura, trekking fluviale,
subacqueo, speleologia, corsi di sopravvivenza. E’ anche
possibile usufruire di massaggi terapeutici ed estetici o
linfodrenaggio, sempre su prenotazione. Ognuno può
scegliere, con il nostro aiuto, tra diverse attività:
visite guidate ai crateri e, più in generale, su percorsi
naturali, archeologici, del mito, enogastronomici, turistici.

On a surface of nearly 5 hectares, between the green hills of
Mount Etna, there is the farm “La Rocca della Rosa”.
It rises on the fresh and delicate countryside of Zafferana
Etnea, with the sea to its feet and the majestic Etna behind. The
place, suitable for lovers of nature, responds to several wishes:
pure air and light, rest and quiet, please feel free and real,
discovery of unknown cultural treasures, need of evasion and fun.
The farm, born in a strategic position on the Etna volcano slopes
at a few kilometres from Taormina, in a country of distinguished
traditions, where the viceroy usually spent their time, offers a
stay in apartment blocks of ancient and noble architecture.
Cherries, fruit, extra virgin olive oil, jams, honey are organic
products sold in the company. Rooms with services or independent
apartments with bathroom and kitchen corner are available, all
furnished with antique furniture and equipped with every comfort
for a total of 14 beds. Cleaning of the rooms and breakfast are
included in price. Two rooms with facilities for disabled people
are available; the place, devoid of dangers, is suitable to
receive children. Animals are allowed if in advance warning.
Parking also for buses. Between the activities work in progress,
a romantic pool in the midst of cherry-trees. On request we
organize excursions on horseback and riding lessons. It is also
possible therapeutic massage and aesthetic or lymph-drainage,
always on booking. Everyone can choose, with our help, between
different activities: guided visits to the craters and, more
generally, on natural trails, archaeological, of the myth, Wine,
food, tours. Within a few kilometers are the beaches of the Ionic
Riviera, the tourist port of Riposto where you can rent boats of
various tonnages and characteristics; the lifts in Linguaglossa,
the 18 holes "Picciolo" Golf Club with his beautiful cuorse among
oakes, hazels and vineyards and the worldly Taormina. For those
who want to celebrate a special anniversary or event the company
provides its spaces and its catering for banquets, receptions,
business lunches and meetings.
